American consultant
Crystal Winston is an American consultant with extensive experience in facilitation and diplomacy. She has lived in Sri Lanka for four years, where she has immersed herself in learning the vibrant customs and cultures of the island.
She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Harvard University and has led sensitive and high-profile international projects for the US Department of State, the Asian Development Bank, and the United Nations. She is also a dynamic, TEFL certified English instructor.
As a global practitioner, Crystal has worked in over twenty countries and across dozens of cultures. She has lived and worked in Asia for several years, where she gained a deep understanding of Asian culture and values. Crystal’s unique experience empowers her to build bridges in the classroom, pinpoint communication skill gaps, and equip learners to excel in global business.

Tinalee Perera
Consultant
Tinalee Perera is a Hospitality and Service Training Consultant and Lecturer with extensive
international and local experience across luxury hotels, resorts, and academic institutions.
She specializes in learning and development, hospitality education, and talent capability
building within the tourism and service sectors .
With a strong background in both industry and academia, Tinalee has held senior Learning
and Development roles at renowned brands such as Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts,
Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams (pre-opening), and The Nautilus Maldives. Her expertise
includes designing and delivering training programs, onboarding and pre-opening training,
leadership development, service excellence, and aligning learning initiatives with brand
culture and business goals .
In academia, she currently serves as a Hospitality Lecturer at Colombo Academy of
Hospitality Management (affiliated with William Angliss Institute, Australia) and has worked
as a Visiting Lecturer at Management and Science University. She is experienced in
course development, assessment design, student mentoring, and integrating real-world
industry practices into teaching to create engaging and practical learning experiences .
Tinalee holds an MBA in Hospitality Management from the Business and Hotel
Management School, Switzerland (affiliated with City University of Seattle), along with
postgraduate and undergraduate qualifications in hospitality management. She is
multilingual, fluent in English and Sinhala, with basic proficiency in German and French.
Known for her strong communication skills, positive attitude, and ability to work well under
pressure, she is passionate about developing people, enhancing service standards, and
contributing to high-performing hospitality and service teams.
